Board Rules

Welcome to Dashing. This forum is a friendly, light-hearted forum. To keep things this way, we need to enforce a few rules, so please, be aware of these rules before you post so we can have the best forum experience possible.

These rules may change. You will usually be notified on this, but it may be a good idea to look back at this every now and again.


1) Do not use any offensive language, nor harass any member. This may include things such as verbal abuse, racial or sexual harassment. This is called 'flaming' and will not be tolerated. If you can't play nice then you have no business being here.

2) We all enjoy a good joke, but do not excessively spam. It gets annoying and wastes time of both staff and regular members. If you want to joke, go ahead, but keep it in a tolerable dose.

We have the "Power to the Pointless" forum for anybody who wishes to leave any pointless messages.

3) If a thread or post was deleted or closed, there's a good reason. If you are unsure as to why it was deleted, please contact me or a moderator.

4) Any media you post (such as graphics, drawings or videos) must be entirely your own creation unless otherwise stated. Do not plagarise.

5) No thread-jacking. This means deliberately bringing a thread totally off topic.

6) We will only allow advertising in the Inter-Talk forum and your signature. You may put a link in your signature right when you join up (no post limit) but you must follow the Advertising Guidelines to make a thread about it.

If you are going to advertise anything, your content must be appropriate for anyone below the age of 18. That means NO explicit material. Also, no links to illegal content.

7) Want to affiliate with Dashing? Just go to the Dashing Exchange topic and agree to exchange affiliate links.

8) Do not post explicit content. This is not an adult-only forum. We don't mind 'some' mature discussion, but it must be within context and may not turn into something explicitly graphic.

9) You may reply to old threads if you have something new to contribute. Also, you may 'bump' (reply after your own reply) a topic only if you are providing some sort of update or piece of news.

Yes. Back at old Dashing we had to punish F15 for excessively spamming. I was told off as well.
