My Question: I need to Pass Mission 1-8, I have no idea how to do it. The Instructions say "Perform 4 power-slide turbo boosts in 1 lap"

To Cut a long story short. WHAT ARE POWER-SLIDE TURBO BOOSTS??????

how the heck do you do the shortcut on MK64's Rainbow Road? i know where to jump, i just can't pull it off. i always fall short, and a few times i overshot it.

If you press R while you're racing you slip to one side.
Then press left right left right and so on while sliding.
You'll perform a power slide. I think you can also find it in the manual.

i hate those turbo slide thingies. they're easier to do in Double Dash than in MK64, but it's still alot of work just to get a tiny little speed boost. i prefer the turbo sliding in SMK and Super Circuit.

Trust me, this is very difficult - took me a heap of practise. Ironically, I had this exact cheat published in a magazine called Disney Adventures (I'll try and find it for you.)

Anyway, (best to try this on Time Trial) make sure you have a Mushroom, Star, or one of those Turbo Boasts from the starting line. As the hill begins to slant downward, approach the wall on your left (right in Extra), use your Mushroom (unless you're using your starting boast,) and jump.

If done correctly, you should be heading towards another piece of the course. As you get closer, hit the brake (B button.) If you don't, the impact will cause you to jump off.

Finally, you should have landed about 20 seconds away from where you were, safe and sound. Just turn left (Extra, turn right,) and you'll be near the item blocks with the illusion of the Big Boo.

Now, I just need an explaination of the glitch in Waluigi Stadium (MKDD,) and the short cut in Wario Studium (MK64.)

yeah i keep hearing about that Wario Stadium shortcut but no one ever explains it.

i love the Frappe Snowland shortcut/glitch Big Grin

i doubt it works in DS, but as for MK64...

when the race starts, turn around and go across the bridge behind you. now turn back around and drive across the bridge, angling to the right. you have to jump off the bridge but land on the snow to the right, cutting that little corner. now drive forward, don't go too far left or right or you'll end up back on the track. as you cross the finish line, even though it's to the left of you, it will act like you just completed a lap. now drive far to the right so you get towed. now do it 2 more times and you can finish the race or time trial in little time.

seriously, you can finish the race in like less than half a minute. and i got my Mario Kart 64 used, so whoever had the game before me did like even better, they did like Luigi Circuit in 1 second! obviously they did something with Gameshark.

Trust Me, Never EVER use a gameshark. It can screw up the game. The only way I reccomend is Emulation. Which sux cos I cant find the Banjo-Kazooie ROM. I got project 64.

Only EVER use gameshark for Pokemon - only way to Catch 'em All when emulated.

now that i know the Mew glitch, i don't even need Gameshark. although somewhere i still have that sharked Mew i got from my sister's friend.
